What would be your reaction to a dessert? A sweet treat, right? Most of us love desserts, especially those who are health-conscious or following their diet. But what if we told you that you can also add healthy ingredients to them? You know, healthy ingredients that are nutritious and great for you? It sounds very easy, doesn’t it? This is exactly how I feel when we talk about a certain type of dessert. Me, I love smoothies, ice creams, etc. And it only happens because of these simple things. So today I am going to share something which is not a regular dessert but rather a healthier one. This particular one is made with carrots, milk products (which the body requires), fruit juices, and honey which is good for our bodies. Let’s start learning more about this dish and try out this amazing combination of foods.
In today's world, people prefer eating healthy foods which are mostly vegetarian/vegan or gluten-free. As a result of these natural ingredients, they tend to get fat too quickly. They also don’t take much time to digest it before getting absorbed. Well for such reasons, many have decided to consume some sort of ingredient which tastes delicious, i.e., sweeteners. Sweeteners consist of artificial sweeteners, sugar, fructose, and dextrose. These sweeteners are used mainly as toppings because they are usually available in form of syrups for both dairy and non-dairy products and they are often preferred by kids who are less curious to taste real food or have zero interest in eating healthy foods even though there are many beneficial things for it. If you want to enjoy this wonderful combination without feeling the guilt later then do it! I thought it was weird at first but after trying it and enjoying these, I did want to go back to eating original foods. That’s why this article is very relevant for everyone.

How to prepare it?
I’m sure you have heard so many ways to prepare the same thing. Here’s my method and all that you need to do is follow this recipe. But I think it gives you something different when you mix it up with other natural ingredients. Also, some of them do require you to add milk products such as yogurt, cottage cheese, curd, Makhan, coconut milk, etc. To avoid any kind of complications like lactose intolerance and other allergies, you can omit certain ingredients from the recipe. Some of them have a low content of carbohydrates with high protein content. I’ll show you all.
Ingredients required:
Ingredients:
3 medium-sized carrots
1 cup full-fat milk
1 teaspoon honey
5 tablespoons grated raw cane sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
Salt + extra chili flakes
Method:
Take out the pulp from the carrots and mash them well so that the texture becomes more consistent. Add 1 cup of full-fat milk to a large mixing bowl. Take out the flesh to remove it from the pulp. Now take out the pineapple and cube it. Then take the juice of half of the lime. Stir it into the whole mixture and keep aside it for the next step. In a small pan add a little water and put it on medium heat. Once hot, pour it into a blender and continue adding in the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Put the blended and cooled drink in a glass bottle or jar. Cover tightly. Refrigerate for 3 days. Note: Before refrigerating, let it cool completely and stir it in thoroughly. The consistency will become thicker. When ready to serve, simply strain the mixture using a strainer to get rid of excess liquid and use it within 24 hours for best results. Serve chilled or warm with fresh fruit. Do this every day for 7 to 8 weeks to see how wonderful it gets and how long you can store it before heating it again. Tip – Use thick, thin, cut, chunks, etc – whatever you like to eat. Whatever suits your taste. You can even use homemade shakes because most of the time there is no harm in mixing it up and taking advantage of the goodness of fruit.
Enjoy!
